Our Mission
Formed in 2017, to promote a safe, clean, professional, and welcoming environment for the clients, businesses, and future of the Industrial Arts (IA) District of East San Carlos.
Community
Our organization is a neighborhood business association working hard to better our community, one business at a time. We communicate important information which effects our neighborhood. We also host quarterly mixers which are open for all members to attend.
Purpose
Our area is rapidly becoming a major metropolitan area. The Industrial Arts District is vastly important to the craftsmen, artists, service personnel and trade workers in our community. Together we can have a voice with the City of San Carlos in the preservation and stewardship of our special district.
Welcome to the Industrial Arts Business Association.

WE BUILT IT!
HOMETOWN DAYS FLOAT
HOMETOWN DAYS 2025
We recently helped San Carlos celebrate their 100th birthday by participating in the 40th annual Hometown Days parade on May 17th, 2025. The IABA float included a revolving cube monument which was built with love and dedication for the City of San Carlos by members from the Industrial Arts District Business Association from December 2024 - May 2025.
It was created by a community of artisan manufacturing businesses in IABA who connected, collaborated and utilized their craft skills to make this happen.
The float represented the Art & Design, Automobile, Building Trades and Food & Beverage small businesses that are within the Industrial Arts District of San Carlos. The cube is a permanent monument honoring the district, can be found in the district and represents the district.
We give a big thanks to these member businesses who helped design, source and build the cube monument and supporting float materials.
